This is a beautiful pair of Silver "Chakana" earrings that dangle from a French Wire drop. The Earrings are handmade by the Artisans of Peru and are intricately inlaid with natural Chrysocolla, Orange Spiny Oyster,  Abalone, and Mother of pearl.  The Andean Cross Symbol referred to as "Chakana" is a sacred symbol of the ancient Inca civilization.  It represents the four corners of the Inca World, the four directions and the four organizing principles of the universe. Within the Chakana symbol is a triangular symbol, which represents the three worlds and the center of Chrysocolla represents where all three worlds meet.  The triangle also represents the sacred "Apu", Mountains. A 1.5mm silver bead accents the wires.  The overall length is 1 1/2". Coming with a Peruvian woven pouch!
