Fire Agate is a deep brick red stone that is the result of Agate forming between thin layers of iron oxide crystals. The crystals then become the white matrix seen in the stone. It is a natural, untreated stone that is found in Mexico and Brazil. Here we find a 40mm double faceted Fire Agate bezel set by hand in Sterling Silver. On top of the stone a Sterling Silver wire design has been accented with Vermeil beads and a 4mm faceted Mexican Fire Opal. The bale is also decorated with the same Vermeil beads and a sunshine yellow Citrine measuring 3mm. This gorgeous piece was designed by Marianna and Richard and handmade by Balinese Artisans it measures 2.5 x 1.5".
