Pyrite, also known as, “Fools Gold” is an iron sulphide that has been known to replaces prehistoric creatures turning them into the fossil we see here with a golden sparkly look. This pyrite Ammonite spiral measures 15x18mm. It is bezel set in Sterling Silver with a 5x7mm bale. The entire piece measures 1 1/4" long.
